Commercial Space Operations

Rapid growth in the commercial space industry and supporting segments will result in an increased need by companies to hire employees for positions closely related to the expertise of Commercial Space Operations.  With this innovative program comes an important link between the needs of the commercial space and aerospace industries and related agencies, as well as Embry-Riddle’s well-established expertise in aerospace education. The Bachelor of Science in Commercial Space Operations is offered at the Florida campus.

In the Space Policy and Operations specialization, you will learn to use modern management concepts, methods, and tools in organizations in the commercial space industry. You will gain an understanding of the unique characteristics of commercial space and the policy, finance, human factors, and safety management behind the industry.

In the Operations Science and Technology specialization, you will learn how to simulate operations of spaceports, understand life support systems for human spaceflight, and look into specific systems and production within the commercial space industry.
